The place

The House

A tuffeau stone farmhouse, its outbuilding, a well in the middle of the courtyard and six and a half thousand square metres of grounds around it.

The full tour

The simplest way to know where you are going is still to look. Here is the house as it is, inside and out, through the seasons — unstyled and unretouched.

The building

The farmhouse

Tuffeau stone, a flat-tiled roof and an adjoining barn now turned into a self-contained suite. Everything was restored room by room, keeping what was already there: the beams, the arched windows, the original floors.

In front of the house

The courtyard

Gravel, the stone well in the middle, and the spot where you park. It is how you arrive, and it is where drinks happen once the lights come on.

The garden

Six and a half thousand square metres. A big oak tree, apple, pear, plum, mirabelle and nectarine trees, and blackberries to pick as you pass. A gravel pétanque pitch, tables under the trees. Treat it as your own.

At the end of the garden

The pool

Edged with lavender and hedging, with its loungers and deck. It is open from May to September, and it is never crowded: there are only three rooms.
