What comes with the room

Your Stay

Breakfast left at your door, a guide to addresses we have tried ourselves, and the bookings we make on your behalf.

The idea

Nothing to arrange

EDDA Country House is more than a guest house. It is a breakfast you do not have to order, addresses you do not have to hunt for, and bookings you do not have to make. Here is exactly what your stay includes.

Included in your stay

Breakfast

It is left in your room the evening before. You have it whenever suits you — at seven before a day on the bike, at eleven on a Sunday — with no stairs to come down, no service to catch and no one to meet. Everything is organic, local and seasonal: breads and cakes baked here, farm yoghurt, fresh fruit, jams. Tell us what you like or what you avoid, and we adapt.

A full breakfast laid on a wooden table: sourdough bread, brioche, cookies, yoghurt and fruit salad

The tray

The pastries

Bookings

The good tables in the Loire Valley are booked weeks ahead, and some châteaux cap the number of visitors per slot. We call, we book, we hand you the time and the address.

The shop

We are opening a small shop here at the house: Loire wines bought directly from the growers, craft beers, soft drinks and everything for an aperitif. Enough to carry the evening on by the pool without getting back in the car.
