Our terms
Tourist tax
The local tourist tax is €0.80 per person per night. It is not included in the room rate but appears as an option during your reservation. This tax is mandatory and is paid to the local municipality.
Reservation
Rooms can be booked online through our website or by phone. A reservation is confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit of the total amount of the stay.
Cancellation
The deposit is refunded in full if the cancellation is made at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. For a later cancellation, the deposit is not refunded and the amount of the first night remains due.
Payments
The balance of the stay is due on arrival. We accept cash as well as Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. We do not accept cheques.
Security deposit
In the event of damage or theft on the premises, Edda Country House reserves the right to charge the cost of putting things right.
Arrivals and departures
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 12pm. A late arrival or an early departure can be arranged, as can a later departure, on request and subject to availability. Please give us your estimated arrival time when booking so that we can receive you properly.
Parking
Free parking is available on site for guests.
Children
Children are welcome in all three rooms. A cot and a folding single bed can be provided on request, subject to availability. Tell us the ages of your children when booking and we will prepare the room accordingly.

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is left in your room the evening before.
Pool
The pool is open to guests until 9pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Use of the pool is at guests' own risk.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms. Outdoor areas are for smokers, with respect for everyone; you may be asked not to smoke around communal areas such as the pool or the pétanque court.
Use of the premises
The premises must be used for their intended purpose, and guests undertake to respect the peaceful character of the house. Any behaviour contrary to public decency and order will lead the owner to ask the guest to leave, without compensation and without refund if payment has already been made.
